R4i SDHC just released a new kernel V1.46b

R4i SDHC just released a new kernel V1.46b, which brought a lot changes to the R4i SDHC cards, such as the Added adjustable save file size features without damage save file.

Ff, HI (prHWY.com) October 18, 2012 - R4i SDHC just released a new kernel V1.46b, which brought a lot changes to the R4i SDHC cards, such as the Added adjustable save file size features without damage save file. It also fix "save not found error" by some low quality SD card. And the R4i SDHC card is Added disable update feature to avoid card been accidentally update. If firmware was latest version update will not be allow, or go to "config/config" to manually disable update. Also the team has made a lot of improvements on the unknown new games loading routine (to avoid white screen, soft-reset problem)and some old games loading speed.

This V1.46b kernel is working on the R4i SDHC 3DS card, R4i V1.4.3, R4i V1.4.2, R4i V1.4.1 cards. It will be a great that this kernel also works on the old cards for the old card owner may not need to buy a new one. Let's see more details on the updates as below,

R4i V1.46b Update:
1. Added adjustable save file size features without damage save file.
2. Fix "save not found error" by some low quality SD card.
3. Added disable update feature to avoid card been accidentally update.
If firmware was latest version update will not be allow,
or go to "config/config" to manually disable update.
4. Improve unknown new games loading routine (to avoid white screen, soft-reset problem).
5. Improve some old games loading speed.
6. Display change:
a. Power off button move to main config screen.
b. 2 line display of game name.
c. Solved display bug of save date = 0
d. Solved display bug of cheat items.
e. Fix display error (translation and symbols error) of multilingual.
7. WIFI Engine update to 1.05
- Support new skins features.
8. Fix soft-reset "NO CARD" error.

How to update the kernel?

By using the TF card reader, connect your TF card with computer, open the file. a. Upload game kernel: Copy the R4.DAT file to your TF card. b. Upload video kernel: Copy the Moonshl2 to your TF card. c. Upload DIY Interface function: Copy the R4iMenu to your TF card.

How to update AR cheat data base?

Upload the newest AR cheat data base, then copy the "usrcheat.dat" file to"R4iMenu" file.
