Met my perfect match through gothic Singles Germany!!................................................

New York, NY (prHWY.com) October 23, 2012 - Having little (and bad) luck with other methods of dating, I decided to try gothicsinglesgermany.com, toward the end of November '08. I was searching for someone in Germany, since I was (& am) planning to move to Germany. I was studying abroad there the following January, and felt that it wouldn't hurt to possibly establish a few contacts before the trip.

Within the first week of my membership, I found the man whom I would shortly "stumble" in love with. He didn't say much on his profile; rather, it was his MAYHEM t-shirt (and nice face) that piqued my interest, initially. Even though I thought he'd overlook me & my long-winded profile, I decided to hazard the risk. It took a few days to hear back from him, but even from the start he was interesting to me, and very sweet.

We conversed via email for a week over a month, and I gave him my contact info (phone). It wasn't long before he called me. I remember when he first called me - even though at that point my romantic interest in him was minimal, I melted utterly (and NOT because of his Kildare dialect!). It was short & honey-sweet. The phone calls would gradually become more frequent & lengthy (& my mobile bill more & more expensive, but well worth the cost).

It didn't take long for me to develop a crush on him, before I even "met" him. To be honest, I felt a bit stupid about it, but told him nevertheless. He didn't say much on the matter, being generally soft-spoken & by my estimation, somewhat shy, but the mutual attraction was made clearer when we met in Germany, late in the first week of my study abroad.

The first date was absolute flirtation, and it wasn't long before the other ladies in my study group were asking after "that really hot guy＂Ｉwent out with the other night." We even kissed on the first date - not one of those sloppy snogging sessions, but there were several gentle "Good Night" kisses on the mouth, and warm, glowing feelings that carried well on into the next week.

By the second date the following week, he was holding my hand, among other things (but not what you're thinking). He slept over that night (without mischief ), or rather didn't sleep　and stayed up all night/morning talking and cuddling.

While at that point we didn't opt to date, we did resolve to see each other again, and we have - twice in the past 4 months. He met my family last March with great success, and I have just returned from Germany this past week, having finally met his family and friends.

Cliffie, who is 8 yrs and 8 months my senior, is a first-class gentleman; sensitive but by NO means a p*ssy; patient; ever-loving; endlessly entertaining; and while he may not be an Ivory Tower intellectual, he's intelligent, honest, hard-working. He and I share very similar aesthetic and musical tastes to boot. But more importantly, his "soul" is the complement to mine: he is the 9-1-1 dispatcher to my panicked caller, when I am fire he is my water, and when I am water he is my earth. He never criticizes (though he teases, which I do enjoy), & he is very supportive of me through good times/moods & bad, & I of him. When no one else can make me feel better, he can. No matter where we are or what we're doing, so long as we're together, we always manage to have fun.

Without a doubt, living almost 5,000 miles apart is beyond difficult. But we love each other deeply, and are equally resolved to be together. Although we're not quite set on how we're going to go about it in exact detail, we do plan to live together within the next two-to-three years.

In summation: I couldn't be happier. It is my sincerest thought (and hope) that he is the "love of my life," & he and I see each other being together for many years to come (and we plan on making that happen). Life looks infinitely brighter, amidst all the economic downturns and inevitable human drama. Thank you, GothicSinglesGermany! Without this service, Cliffie and I would probably never have met each other.
