Council dramatically redcies fuel consumption with vehicle tracking system

Cambridge, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) October 24, 2012 - Outperforming stiff competition, vehicle-tracking supplier Quartix has become a finalist in the 2012 Sustainability Leaders Awards. Amongst other achievements, the work it has undertaken with Worcester City Council particularly impressed the judges. The other finalists in the Sustainable Transport category are LOCOG, Network Rail, Howard Tenens and Alstom, with the winner being announced on 5th December at The Grange St Paul's in London. Organised by Edie.net and Sustainable Business, these RSA accredited awards reward companies demonstrating leadership and innovation in sustainability in both the private and public sectors.
