Major Medical Device Company works with Fat Box to produce a Patient Education Video about Coronary Artery Disease or CAD

The video utilized an on-camera host explaining the various symptoms associated with CAD and the various treatments options available to patients.

Redwood City, CA (prHWY.com) March 31, 2011 - San Francisco/Bay Area, CA (December 2010)--Fat Box worked with a major medical device company to develop a Patient Education video for patients suffering from Coronary Artery Disease. The video utilized an on-camera host explaining the various symptoms associated with CAD and the various treatments options available to patients.

To help support the on-camera host Fat Box also produced stylized motion graphics using 2D Animation listing the various symptoms and risk factors to CAD. 3D Animation was also used to illustrate a blocked artery with plaque build-up and blood flow restriction, which is what happens when a person suffers from CAD.

Once the symptoms and risk factors were laid out the video went onto explain the various treatments available. Again using 3D animation we showed how a stent would be deployed into the blocked artery to help open the flow of blood within the artery. Depending on the situation the stent deployed may be a drug eluting stent to help deal with the plaque build-up within the artery. 3D Animation was also used to show the stent eluting drug particles within the artery.

The Patient Education video was produced in English and also localized in Mandarin and Spanish with all motion graphics localized per language as well as overdubbing of the on-camera talent per language.
