Franklin, NJ -- April 30 -- Internal Gardens Tai Chi School welcomes the public to join in the celebration of World Tai Chi & Qigong Day with tai chi workshops, free food and gifts from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. World Tai Chi & Qigong Day - the last Saturday of April - commemorates the Chinese wellness practices of tai chi and qigong. Globally, it has been recognized by the United Nations Word Health Organization, and in the US, by various state and city proclamations (see: www.WorldTaiChiDay.org and www.wikipedia.org).

Among the attendees will be tai chi student, Kim Romano, RN - a NJ nurse who is using tai chi to help her train for a grueling charity hike in the Grand Canyon to raise funds and awareness of blood cancers, held by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (see: www.TeamInTraining.org, and www.LLS.org). Internal Gardens' registration fee of $7 for its World Tai Chi Day event will be used in proceeds to support Ms. Romano's fundraising efforts for the charity.

"What better way to celebrate tai chi and to help others suffering from blood cancers than to do it on World Tai Chi Day," quotes Loretta Wollering - Chief Instructor of Internal Gardens Tai Chi School.

For directions and to register online, visit: www.InternalGardens.com or call: 973-827-8805.

People of all levels of physical ability and interest are welcome to attend.
