Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has announced the release of this active UHF RFID beacon tag. The beaconing tag is a cost-effective, long-range active RFID tag appropriate for tracking mobile assets, controlling access or online inventory, and localizing of assets or personnel in designated areas.
This active UHF RFID beacon tag, model 137001, features automatic transmission, non-line-of-sight data transmission and industrial housing. It also offers outstanding long-range read capability for wireless applications. Static data is written on the tag and is sent at a programmable interval without requiring a request from the reader.
This tag uses advanced UHF radio frequency technology and sends data to a mobile or fixed reader at distances of up to 100 meters. It provides UHF operating frequencies which are available for both standard North Ameican and European ISM band frequencies. In addition, its ultra-low power consumption and configurable ping rate enable it to operate effectively for many years without additional maintenance.
This active RFID UHF beacon tag belongs to GAO's family of Supply Chain RFID Tags.
