QuEST Global signs MoU with MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE)
Students of MVJCE of Visvesvaraya Technological University benefit through training and recruitment opportunities

The MoU was signed and exchanged in a function at the MVJ College of Engineering by Dr. K.S. Badarinarayan, Principal, MVJCE and Dr. Ajay Prabhu, COO, Quest Global Engineering in the presence of Dr. S.K Maharana, HOD, Aeronautical Engineering, MVJCE & Prof. James Sathya Kumar, HOD, Mechanical Engineering, MVJCE. This is one of the many industry-academia partnerships QuEST Global has taken up to promote the cause of 'core engineering'.
Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Ajay Prabhu, Chief Operating Officer, QuEST Global Engineering said, "It has now become pertinent to consider and partner with the academia to promote and generate industry or job ready candidates rather than just engineering graduates who will need further training. This may also result in failing to secure a job opportunity when compared to a candidate who has gone through such industry ready training. Through this initiative I am confident that we will be able to churn out candidates who will be on the job from day one. I am extremely honoured to share this prestigious partnership with MVJ College of Engineering".
As part of the agreement, QuEST Global will provide the Course Materials for the respective Software to be taught along with deploying trainers etc. while MVJCE will allot a faculty along with the necessary hardware/equipment required to provide optimum training amenties for the students. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a Joint Certification by Dr. MVJCE-QuEST CADAM.
"It is highly commendable that prestigious companies like QuEST have taken up on this noble initiative to develop education curricula and partner with institutions. We see this as another victory for education as these forms of partnerships not only help improve the education system but also helps to grow in our maturity curve as an institution", said Dr. K.S Badarinarayan, Principal, MVJCE.Â
The course is designed into 2 modules viz. the CAD Programme, the duration of which is slotted for a total of 140 Hours and the Analyst Programme which is slotted for 130 Hours respectively.
The course will cover aspects from CAD/CAE process awareness; to advanced modeling, drawings, process solutions, product detailing etc. Both modules will be followed by a case study / project for assessment. Â
The first batch commences in November, 2012 and is expected to be complete by February, 2013.
