There are so many things that you can do over at the Oregon Coast and that is true for every member of the family. The Beaches- One of the biggest attractions of the Oregon Coast area are the beaches. The great thing about beaches in Oregon is that everyone has free access to it. Thanks to the Oregon Beach bill, which was passed in 1967, the public can access the whole stretch of Oregon coast and beaches.
This means that whenever you feel like it you can just take off your shoes and feel the sand under your feet. There are even places where you can take your vehicle right to the beach. If you feel like it, you can just walk the whole stretch of the coast.
Activities on the Beach - Beach is fun, and you can make it even more enjoyable when you do some specific activities meant for the beach. You can try things like sand boarding and flying a kite. You can discover some really fun activities.

Attractions- The Oregon Coast is also not lacking when it comes to attractions that are worth visiting. There is the West Coast Game Park Safari, which is the largest petting zoo for animals in the United States. The whole family can get a thrill from making a visit there.
Are you interested in dinosaurs? Then you have got to pay a visit to the prehistoric gardens. That's where they display full sized replicas of the ancient reptiles.

If you're into history, then check out lighthouses that dot the Oregon Coast. The seas off the coast there have long been considered to be very dangerous, and that's why lighthouses have been built there over the years. Aside from serving a real practical purpose, these lighthouses are considered to be historical sites.
As we have mentioned, the sea off Oregon is quite rough and because of that many ships have sunk there. These shipwrecks have actually proven to be popular tourist attractions. You can go and visit them if you are after a little thrill and adventure.

Wildlife- The Oregon Coast is also known for its biodiversity and you can spend some time there watching sea lions, birds, sea otters, and other animals from the wild living in their natural habitat. Nothing comes close to observing animals in their natural habitat.

There are so many other things that you can do there. Places where you can engage in hiking, camping, and river fishing are very near. This just means that you can find everything that you have been looking for in an Oregon coast vacation.
