Winners Live it Big this Eid

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (prHWY.com) November 7, 2012 - Dubai, Nov 6, 2012: Dubai for long has been known as the land of opportunities and offering smiles to 20 lucky expatriates, nationals and visitors this Eid was the 'Eidiyat Dubai Promotion' organized by the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) in conjunction with Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE).

Jerelie Anadio, a Filipino cook who has been living in the UAE for 11 years, would try her luck at most of the raffles hoping that lady luck would smile on her one day. When it did, her joy knew no bounds.

The excited Jerelie who won AED 50,000 feels it was an investment made over the last 11 years. She exclaimed saying, "I have been participating at raffle draws since years, but I haven't won anything. When I did it was a windfall. The Eidiyat Dubai promotion has given me enough money to solve my problems and I would term it to be an early Christmas gift. "

Other lucky winners who won AED 50,000 at the final raffle draw were incidentally with the same name. These included, M. Tariq, an Indian national, Nagham Tarek an American national and Tariq S. an Egyptian national.

Khalid Ahmad Abdalla, an eighteen year old UAE national feels his life has been transformed after the winning. Woken up from a deep slumber, Khalid wasn't convinced when his mother informed him about his prize. "I was surprised when my mom told me that I won AED 50,000. I had always wanted to win at a raffle draw and this is terrific! I am so thrilled that I am lost for words."

Khalid who is a high school graduate wants to gift his father a special gift from his prize money. He says, "My father is my inspiration. I will present him with a special gift as my token of appreciation for everything he has done for me."

The raffle draw also witnessed the winning of a toddler, Ma'ab Esam, a 3yr old Sudanese national whose parents were exhilarated when informed about their daughter's win.

The Eidiyat Dubai Promotion has rewarded a mix of nationalities during Eid. Imran Aibani, an Indian national was out on a vacation when informed about his win. "The news has still to sink in. I was a bit baffled when my colleague informed me about my prize money."

Ritu Chaturvedi, the Head of the Department at a North American International School has been living in UAE since 15 years, but had never been fortunate until this Eid. She says, "I am glad that I have won. Unfortunately, last year, the same time a theft at my place left me and my family devastated. However, I am grateful to God that due to the Eidiyat Dubai Promotion I have been able to recover my loss. I am extremely grateful to Dubai Shopping Malls Group for this wonderful opportunity."
