Buick takes on special role during basketball tournament

Miami, FL (prHWY.com) April 18, 2011 - The month of March is always an exciting time of the year. Not only does it signal the end of winter, but it also marks the start of March Madness and the NCAA college basketball tournament. There are several elements to this sponsorship. First, Buick will host a post-game show called "Inside March Madness Presented by Buick." The thirty minute show will appear on truTV and TBS and will air after games. There will be a total of thirteen installments of the show throughout the course of the tournament. Pembroke Pines Buick drivers are excited to tune in.

Beyond this show, Buick is looking to give back to the community through the sponsorship. The brand will help to spotlight former college athletes' charitable work with a program called Buick Human Highlight Reel. This will be a thirty-minute television show which will air before the NCAA Men's Final Four semifinals and will present some of the most impressive humanitarian activities.

Along with this highlight reel, Buick is sponsoring the Samaritan's Feet program in which celebrities and former athletes will be giving away 2,011 pairs of shoes to those who can't afford any.
Buick's partnership with the NCAA seems to be a perfect fit.
