Miami, FL (prHWY.com) April 18, 2011 - At your local Hollywood, FL Hyundai dealer, we pride ourselves on always providing reliable and reasonably priced vehicles. At the 81st International Motor show in Geneva, however, Hyundai proved that we are ready to enter the premium market, starting in Europe. Hyundai plans to enter this segment with the all-new i40 D-class.

With the i40 D-class, Hyundai hopes to make luxury vehicles more accessible. The new premium vehicle will feature heated and reclining seats, a heated steering wheel, and an active demisting system. It will debut as a station wagon over the summer, and a sedan will follow later on in the year. The i40 D-Class closely resembles the Miami Beach Hyundai Sonata and may eventually expand to markets other than Europe. Hyundai hopes to sell 60,000 of these new models in 2012, which would make it one of the top six cars in its class!

Things are looking bright for Hyundai in the European market. In 2010, the brand experienced a 4.7% increase in registrations as compared to 2009, to more than 358,000. This increase came in spite of a 4.9% market decrease in Europe. A leading Hyundai seller in Europe in 2010 was the i30 which had its best-ever annual sales of 115,000 units.

If you would like to learn more about Hyundai's plans to break into the premium segment, come see us at your favorite Hollywood, FL Hyundai dealer.
