New Vancouver Airport Hotels Help Stranded Passengers

One of the biggest fears many travelers face is the thought that they might become stranded in an airport and forced to undergo the stressful process of obtaining a hotel room.

Seattle, WA (prHWY.com) November 22, 2012 - One of the biggest fears many travelers face is the thought that they might become stranded in an airport and forced to undergo the stressful process of obtaining a hotel room. Many local airport hotels are often booked to maximum capacity, which makes finding a room difficult. It is a new group of Vancouver airport hotels that vows to make this process easier for all travelers involved.

"We know that travelers get frustrated with the whole process of having to find a hotel and book one when they are stranded in an airport", said John Turner, CEO of Travel Easy Hotels. "We decided to work with local airports to create a hotel chain that is extremely easy for stranded travelers to use. One that eliminates all the stressful elements of airport hotel stays."

Travel Easy Hotels is a chain of airport hotels that have worked with local airports to make their stay easier and more comfortable. When a traveler is stranded in an airport they must go through security and checkout to get to the nearest hotel. They must then leave their hotel early to go back through security to get to their gate. Travel Easy Hotels eliminates that entire process.

"What we've done is we have taken empty space in local airports and transformed them into hotels", said Turner. "This allows stranded travelers to have a place to stay without having to go through the entire checkout and security process. It really makes things easier."

All guests at the Travel Easy Hotels must have a valid boarding pass. They must have either had a flight that was cancelled or delayed. All of these items are checked out before a person may book a room at the hotel.

"For security purposes we need to make sure that our guests did have a flight that was supposed to leave, but was cancelled or delayed for one reason or another", said Turner. "We don't want people just coming in to use the hotel. That could present some security concerns."

The whole hotel chain is done to resemble a luxury hotel. The rooms are filled with light, relaxing colors and all beds are fitted with the finest sheets. There are no cots or uncomfortable pillows to be found in this hotel chain.

"We want people to relax and be able to travel safely", said Turner. "This hotel chain allows them to do just that without ever having to step foot out of the airport."
