Alberta, Canada (prHWY.com) November 23, 2012 - Uppgroup Inc. announced the launch of a new website for Offset Green (http://www.offsetgreen.com/), a carbon offset credit company. Uppgroup Inc. began work with Offset Green in September, developing their web present in the central Alberta region.

Offset Green is a new company established to manage and promote the sale of carbon credits or "green Offsets" produced by GEOC (Global Emission Offset Corp.). GEOC (http://www.globalemissions.com) is an Alberta Registered Corporation that acquired the worldwide exclusive license from FailSafe to process and manage all carbon credit aggregation and quantification of all Carbon Credits generated from First nations, Aboriginal and Indigenous lands utilizing the QSYS platform. Offset Green offers carbon credits based on First Nations land carbon credits, aggregated by GEOC.

Offset Green will be working closely with the First Nations in helping them manage their carbon footprint through a Green Forest Okanese Hybrid Tree Carbon Sequestering Afforestation project. The First Nations will be using the Okanese Hybrid poplar named after the First Nations people in Saskatchewan. It was developed in 2007 at Indian Head Saskatchewan. It is a fast growing disease resistant poplar and is well suited for carbon sequestering.
