German Immigration Policy Update: Opens Labor Market for Highly-skilled Professionals
Germany has recently implemented the EU Directive granting migrants from non-EU states access to highly skilled occupations and the possibility for them to reside in the country.

Applicants having a university degree and with a gross annual salary of at least 44,800 Euros will be eligible for the scheme. In case of professions with skill shortages which includes engineers, ICT specialists and medical practitioners, the salary threshold has been reduced to 34,944 euros. Also, priority reviews are no longer required in both these cases.
