Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) has announced the release of its 125 kHz passive encapsulated RFID tag which providing contactless reading. This passive low frequency RFID tag is designed for applications including logistics, anti-counterfeiting and access control.
This 125 kHz passive encapsulated RFID tag, model 111003D, features a compact size and light weight. It offers a read range of 2 to 6 cm. It is compliant with EM4100 and other compatible standards. This tag can be attached to or placed on an object. In addition, this tag can operate under harsh environments and is resistant to shock, salt water, alcohol and oil.
This low frequency encapsulated RFID tag belongs to GAO's family of 125 kHz RFID Tags. This line also includes 125 kHz Key Fob w/Ring RFID Tag which has a key ring design and is generally used for personnel identification/ authentication, access control, transit, parking, event attendance management, ticketing, card payment, and product identification, 125 kHz RFID Clamshell Card which is used in a variety of applications such as ticketing, security access control and prepayment devices and 125 kHz Thin Card which is commonly used for such purpose as employee identification, attendance checking, access control and asset tagging.
