Fashion retail website launched in Abu Dhabi

Leading fashion trading company LIWA has launched a new website to help customers find top brands online and locate stores across the GCC.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (prHWY.com) November 30, 2012 - Abu Dhabi , UAE: Liwa Trading Enterprises, part of Al Nasser Holdings, opened its first retailing outlet back in 1987 - a franchise store for British Home Stores (BHS), providing a new concept in shopping in Abu Dhabi. This was achieved through a high standard of store layout and design, coupled with the availability under one roof of a unique range of home products and stylish, price-conscious fashions for the family.
 
Now, with more than 20 leading fashion brands such as Nautica, La Senza and Gant, to name but a few, the new Liwa retail website has retained the high standards of design and ease of use. Liwa's marketing manager Richa Nair says, "Our goal has been to create an easy to use, vibrant website to allow the visitor to see our great range of top fashion brands being offered throughout the region. We will be incentivising visitors with offers that can be redeemed in-store thereby driving footfall into our retail outlets via our website. The site is also designed to help our brand managers manage our wide range of fashion items and interact with our customers via e-news articles, seasonal previews and social networking".
 
The new fashion retail website was designed and programmed by Acumen Interactive, the digital arm of Acumen Ad agency who has been based in the UAE for the past 18 years. Acumen's specialty is creating marketing focused, interactive websites that are highly optimised for search engine optimisation.

The database website is managed via Acumen Interactive's bespoke content management system which uses a "drag and drop" facility to allow clients to easily update the website in seconds. Store search is linked to Google maps which dynamically places the addresses. The content management system is optimised for search engines throughout the Middle East and hosted on dedicated fast servers which are key to SEO in todays tough competitive environment.
