Florida law firm volunteers at Third Annual Broward County Thanksgiving Community Outreach

Lauderdale, FL - Feeding South Florida reports that nearly one million people in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties struggled to put food on the table this Thanksgiving. Thankfully, that number was reduced through the efforts of the Ft. Lauderdale law firm of Lawlor, Winston, White & Murphey. The firm teamed with Farmer, Jaffe, Weissing, Edwards, Fistos & Lehrman, P.L.; House Representative and local Ft. Lauderdale lawyer Perry Thurston; and several local businesses to partner with Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity for their Third Annual Broward County Thanksgiving Community Outreach.
That the participating firms made generous donations to the outreach event probably comes as no surprise. But these businesses not only wrote checks, they donated their time and energy to prepare Thanksgiving baskets that included turkey and all the trimmings. They then hand-delivered the baskets to 500 Pompano Beach families in need, doubling, by the way, last year's efforts.
