Camp Timanous is a boys overnight summer camp located in Southern Maine, 25 miles west of Portland on the shores of Panther Pond, a beautiful New England setting. Here boys have fun, learn new skills, enjoy the outdoors and make lifelong friends.

Here boys will conquer the outdoors, participate in on and off land activities and make lifelong friends along the way. Each child will return home more independent and self-confident.

Camp Timanous offers endless activities that will keep your child entertained and energetic. We stress the development of character through an active, outdoor, simple lifestyle and a positive approach to everything. Our on land activities consist of archery, lacrosse, arts&crafts, nature, baseball, riflery, basketball, soccer, camping, tennis, drama and music. Off land we offer sailing, waterskiing, canoeing, boating, fishing and swimming. There is never a dull moment at our camp!

As a camper your child will enhance his social skills, learn how to tolerate new situations and become more self-sufficient. Every day our campers will have a wide variety of activities that they can choose to participate in. Whether they are into theatre, sports, or both, we have the perfect mixture.
