AIESEC Organizes Global Village at Vadodara Mall
Thirty foreign students from over 15 countries who are in the city as a part of an AIESEC exchange programme showcased their culture and country at a 'Global Village' event in the city on Saturday evening.

The event was organized by World's largest youth run organization, AIESEC, which brought together 36 students hailing from 15 countries to set up stalls about their countries' unique aspects. The students belonged to Germany, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Romania, Egypt, Turkey, Vietnam, UK, China, Japan and Indonesia.
The students, with flags of India and their respective countries painted on their faces, took turns to provide information about their countries at the event, which was aptly named 'Global Village.' "The event provided a platform for people of Vadodara to learn about the culture of other countries," said Stuti Ahluwalia from AIESEC.
"Students put up dances, songs, music, theatrical shows and other activities from their respective countries, which best describe their culture. It was an initiative to create a mutual understanding and environment of togetherness across the nations," said Naveen Kori, an AIESEC volunteer.
Recently, AIESEC introduced Global Entrepreneurship Program wherein young students can learn about benefits of international internships and can develop their entrepreneurial and leadership skills, the AIESEC leaders said.
