Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) December 20, 2012 - The engagement ceremony of Rohan Palshetkar and Karishma Kirti was a grand affair with the creme de la creme in attendance at the J.K. Banquets, Prabhadevi. His Excellency,Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil, Honourable Governor of Tripura arrived well in time and blessed the couple. Dr. Ajeenkya Patil, Chairman, D.Y. Patil Group was accompanied by his wife Pooja.

Dr. Hrishikesh Pai was in great spirits and looked dapper in a traditional kurta. Moiz Lokhandwala, Managing Director, Lokhandwala Infrastructure, made his presence felt despite his hectic schedule. Pinkey Ahluwalia , Vice Consul of Belgium, was overheard talking about the forthcoming Xmas celebrations in Belgium. Leena Mogre looked elegant in a pink saree. Also spotted were Dr. Sandesh Mayekar and Satish Maneshinde. Ashutosh Gowariker and Poonam Dhillon also wished the couple and provided the much needed Bollywood quotient for the evening.

Dr. Anjali Mukherjee walked in late and was accompanied by her husband Saurabh. Abey Kuruvilla, former cricketer, spent quality time at this gathering. Brinda Parekh looked gorgeous in black. Kaanchan Adhikari and Vaishali Samant enjoyed the lavish buffet spread at the J.K Banquets. Rohan's parents, Dr. Nandita Palshetkar and Pradeep Palshetkar were the perfect hosts and attended to the guests personally. The song and dance continued till the wee hours.
