Jason Li Named Winner of "Next Teen Tycoon Award" for Iretron.com
LOS GATOS: In March of this year Jason Li, the creator of Iretron, was presented with the award for the "Next Teen Tycoon", beating hundreds of students who took part in the nationwide competition.

"I think Iretron's potential is very high. Unlike most companies, it helps everyone. That's what's so special about the company's model" Li said, "I plan to keep expanding it while I'm in college. It could become a multimillion-dollar company. It's a big goal, but I'm sure I can do it. And I could start a second company" said Iretron's founder, Jason Li.
The CEO of VerticalResponse Janine Popick said, "I think Iretron appeals to a large market and has tons of potential. It's good for business, good for the environment and good for the end users abroad where there's still demand for our 'gently used' technology".
Li thinks true entrepreneurs shouldn't seek to fit in. "I didn't start the company in hopes of becoming popular at my school. That was never my goal. I don't believe it should be anyone's goal to become popular from something. People who start their own organizations, who pioneer something like this, don't care what other people think".
More important than being liked is being influential. "After all this, a lot of friends were talking about how they could get involved and help me" Li said, "People may see what I'm doing and want to do the same".
