Believing in the Power of Education: Rishi Chugh

Though he lives far from New York City at this point, he believes that the time he spent in the Big Apple was a key part of his education. Living in one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world has given him a unique perspective on life. He also got to meet a wide variety of people, and the amount of diversity that was in Rishi Chugh's life during his college years has a lot to do with how successful he is in his current job.

Aside from the setting, the actual education itself was invaluable to Rishi Chugh. The skills he gained in his accountancy degree were immediately applied to the job he received in Charlotte upon graduation. Even moving proved to be part of the educational process for Rishi Chugh - after all, Charlotte is quite different from New York City!

"Not only has my education helped me in terms of giving me the information I needed to start a career, the amount of traveling that I have done because of my education has been very seminal to the person who I am today. Traveling has made me much more cosmopolitan and accepting of differences," Rishi Chugh has said.

With all of this at the behest of his education, it's no surprise that Rishi Chugh has spent so much time telling others the success he has gained due to his learning. He also spends time coaching youth about the right kind of education to pursue. While education is important, Rishi Chugh doesn't want youth to go to a college and spend thousands of dollars on an education that they won't use. It's all about balance!
