Manufacturing advances have driven the price of Android media player dongles down, allowing an even wider range of consumers to transform their regular TVs into smart TVs powered by the Android operating system.

This allows users to download a wide variety of apps from Google Play, from social media apps like Twitter and Facebook to Android Internet TV apps like YouTube and Hulu.
This Android TV stick also sports the ability to play a wide variety of multimedia files stored in its 4 gigabyte internal memory. This effectively turns the dongle into an Android media player to handle DVD-quality and even BD-quality videos.
"It is tech like this that opens up a world of possibilities for the average consumer," notes Li. She also adds that consumers need no longer shell out hundreds or thousands of dollars for smart TV capabilities.
"And the best part: you don't need to throw away your beloved TV. It can become so much more with a simple Android media player and mini-PC for less than 40 US dollars!"
