Predrag M Milenkovich Celebrates the St. Jude Children's Hospital
Predrag M Milenkovich, president of AvioTech Incorporated, celebrates his continued involvement with the St. Jude Children's Hospital
(prHWY.com) January 16, 2013 - Cleveland, OH -- Predrag M Milenkovich celebrates his continued involvement with the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Whether it's through various volunteer opportunities or his continued donations to the children's hospital, Predrag M Milenkovich is proud of his philanthropic involvement. "Whether or not we're where we want to be, we're always in the position to help someone else," says Predrag M Milenkovich in an effort to encourage others to perform community service. Having travelled much of the world throughout his career, Predrag M Milenkovich is extremely aware of how meaningful community service or monetary contributions can be in someone else's life.
The St. Jude Children's Hospital has always had a special place in Predrag M Milenkovich's heart. He loves interacting with children and hopes that his continued support of the hospital will give the child to live the healthy life and pursue a lifelong dream. Part of why Predrag M Milenkovich enjoys contributing to the St. Jude Children's Hospital is because he is fascinated with the concept of being able to change a stranger's life for the better. "In the end, we're all human and it's a powerful thing to be able to help one another," says Predrag M Milenkovich.
Currently, Predrag M Milenkovich serves as the president of AvioTech Incorporated, where he manages the acquisition and repair of aviation assets. The position requires Predrag M Milenkovich to spend much of his time at the location in Cleveland, OH, though he has participated in projects in Eastern Europe and North Africa. Since Predrag M Milenkovich's responsibilities as president of one of the world's largest aviation supply firms are so demanding, he cannot volunteer as often with the St. Jude Children's Hospital as he would like. He hopes that his continued financial support will have a direct impact in the life of a child. Aside from funding a child's treatment, Predrag M Milenkovich supports the research that St. Jude completes. One of the most notable research achievements by St. Judge is the fact that they were the first institution to develop a cure for sickle cell disease.
The daily operating costs for St. Jude are $1.8 million. The funding of the hospital is all from the generosity of donors, so Predrag M Milenkovich celebrates the importance of every contribution no matter what the size.
