4Screen LLC has announced they have acquired the assets and operations of FocalCast Media, LLC

(prHWY.com) January 31, 2013 - Manchester, NH -- Manchester, NH, January 18, 2013 - 4Screen New England, LLC (4Screen), has announced they have acquired the assets and operations of Londonderry, NH-based FocalCast Media, LLC. With the acquisition, 4Screen New England now owns and operates the largest independent network of placed-based digital signs in the Northern New England region. The transaction was completed during the fourth quarter of 2012. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

4 Screen New England is a full-service, customer engagement solutions provider that integrates digital signage, wireless technologies, digital content and marketing services to enable its clients to better "Inform", "Inspire" and "Influence" their customers. 4 Screen New England is the successor to FocalCast Media, a provider of digital signage, marketing and place-based advertising services to the New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts markets since 2004.

Place-based interactive networks encompass a variety of location-based digital signage, wireless communications and software tools and applications including digital display panels, Internet and wireless connectivity, motion and mobile device sensing technologies, and customer behavior and tracking software. Neilsen has dubbed the place-based digital sign the "4th Screen," after television, internet-connected personal computers and mobile handheld devices. 4Screen leverages the 4th Screen as the foundation for a variety of business and customer-focused, interactive services and technologies including targeted advertising, way-finding, employee and customer communications, customer entertainment, customer loyalty programs, employee training and proximity marketing.
