About the Author
Abha Iyengar is an internally published author and poet, lives in New Delhi. She has also won the Kota Press Poetry Anthology contest. She conducts several creative and poetry writing workshops. She wrote a film poem "Parwaaz" that won a special jury prize at the film festival at Patras, Greece. Her story The High Stool had been nominated for the Story South Million Writers Award (2007). She also writes articles on health, spirituality and travel. She also writes poetry in Hindi. In 2009-2010 she won the Lavanya Sankaran Writing Fellowship. In 2010 she was a Featured Poet at Prakriti Festival.
