(prHWY.com) February 22, 2013 - Los Angeles, CA -- In the last post on the subject of good and useful tips for new surfer, I have mentioned to you about unwritten rules and regulations in surfing. However, I am so sorry that because I had no time and was very busy in preparing in a surfing competition taking place in Australia, I was just able to mention only one rule in those many other unwritten rules. Therefore, in this post today I will continue that topic. However, before going into details, I want to ask you if you remember the first unwritten rule I talked about in the last post. All right, I am sure that most of you know, but some don't know of course. Therefore, please let me remind you of the rule that is not to fight against each other for waves, just respect others and look around when surfing.
Now, I would like to give you some more unwritten rules in surfing. The second rule that I want to point out this time is also about the way to avoid clashing with other surfers when surfers. If the first rule is not to vie against each other when surfing, the second rule is your responsibility to not to crash in to others. When you are paddling back out, you should always remember that there are many other surfers, who are behind you and paddling upwards. As a result, if you are paddling back out without looking and observing, you accidentally prevent other surfers or become an obstruction to them. So , the question is what will you do when you are paddling back when one another surfer is on his way of riding the waves. Most of the time, my advice for this situation is just only looking around carefully before surfing or making a jump. Because we have to agree that to new surfers, who experiences and skills are still not enough, changing directions especially at the last seconds to avoid colliding other surfers is very hard. Therefore, if this circumstance happens to you, it is better to explain, apologize and paddle wide next time.
The last unwritten rule I want to point out is not to be a wave hog. You should never consider the ocean as your possession, that try to prevent other from catching waves. More importantly, you should remember that you are new surfer. As a result, it is wiser and better for you to surf in a less crowded surfers. Because it will give you more chance to catch more waves and avoid clashing with others.
Those are important rules that I suggest you to follow to have surfing funny and relaxing.
