(prHWY.com) February 25, 2013 - London, United Kingdom -- A recently developed mobile app will help increase the safety levels of young people on gap year school trips, by allowing parents and guardians to track their whereabouts at any given time.
The system was developed by a quickly expanding company based in Kirton, Lincolnshire, and is an all-purpose safety net for both students on their
school trips and their guardians.
Aside from the innovative tracking device, this software offers immediate access to an emergency response centre and a forewarning system, which alerts students to potential hazards and incidents along their route.
The usual photo and instant message sharing options are, of course, also included, making this app a well-rounded contact package for students on gap years or university trips.
So far, two schools in Lincolnshire have come on board with the system. Both plan to use it on both domestic and international trips, as well as away sports fixtures.
