Max Gabriel Weisz Recalls Active Lifestyle as Student

(prHWY.com) March 3, 2013 - Charleston, SC -- College life can be a time of great fun and great responsibility. How a student manages themselves depends upon the attitude of the student going into college. Not every student treats college like a social party as many reality television shows would have us believe. Max Gabriel Weisz was one of many students that treated college as a time to balance a fun social life with the responsibilities of high academic achievement.

Max Gabriel Weisz attended Cornell University and earned a degree in agricultural science. Going into college, he was accepted into the Rawlings Presidential Research Scholarship program, which admits only a limited number of students every year. "As a Rawlings Presidential Research Scholar, I performed research related to my field," says Max Gabriel Weisz.

Max Gabriel Weisz also demonstrated his spirit of school involvement by joining a fraternity. He became a member of the Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity and eventually took on the role of president. Not only did he lead the fraternity, but he also performed fundraising as well. As a former Victory Club Chair of Fundraising, Max Gabriel Weisz has experience as a leader and event organizer.

While students join fraternities all over the country, Max Gabriel Weisz enjoyed being very active in his. He learned how to hold a position of authority while maintaining strong social relationships with the other members of the fraternity.
"Even though it was a student group, I still learned how to work with others to arrange events for a group," says Max Gabriel Weisz. He was the Vice President of Research for the Student Assembly Environmental Committee. As a high-ranking board member with a significant amount of responsibility within the group, Max Gabriel Weisz gained more experience of working with a team of people while holding an important leadership position.
