(prHWY.com) March 19, 2013 - Miami, FL -- In a world where the existence of parallel worlds co-existing besides us is a much contemplated thought, comes a new comic book named the 'Parallels' that will delight both comic lovers and fantasy lovers to no end. 'Parallels' is a comic book where the heroes battle the nefarious crime syndicate throughout the multi-verse. Launched on 8th March 2013, now the artists request comic book lovers across the globe to help fund this project. This project will only be funded if at least $3,500 is pledged by Sunday Apr 7, 12:02pm EDT.
'Parallels' delves into the idea that other worlds exist just on the other side of "our" reality. The comic book follows a rag-tag group of freedom fighters known as The Parallels as they battle the villainous Crime Syndicate. These heroes reside in what they refer to as Section 1138, a world in parallel to our own, where The United States has lost much of its wealth, power and freedom to politics and religion. The story focuses on Ambrose 'Beanie' D'Little who has the ability to see these other worlds. It's with his abilities that The Parallels discover that they are not the only ones who know about the existence of these other worlds, and the team is hell-bent on stopping their enemies before the fate of their world is inflicted upon another reality.
The comic book is actually quite great. The story and the bulk of the characters were created by Bryan 'bg' Graham over 5 years ago. Over the years, there were ups and downs and with no perfect illustrator to help Bryan, he even thought of giving up. However, Bryan is not a man who gives up easily and 2 years ago he decided to take up the heroic task on to himself and made a decision to illustrate the book himself. However, fate had a different tale to tell, and he met the extremely talented Chris Marzuol, who is an illustrator and a graphic designer. He too dreamt of drawing his own comic book, and thought 'Parallels' was the right story to give his career the right turn. Chris's style and personality are the perfect complement to Bryan's story and characters.
"By helping to fund the 'Parallels', you are funding the 1st issue of what will be an on-going series. These will be available both in print and digital format and pledging start at just $1. However, the more money you pledge, the more goodies you get from our team here. From $5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 250 to even $500, you can make a contribution of any amount. We'd appreciate any help we can receive to bring the story of 'Parallels" to our audience", states Bryan Graham.
