Kickstarter Campaign Launched for Groundbreaking Interactive Basketball Game
Coach My Country Online has developed the most innovative game in history of online gaming
(prHWY.com) March 19, 2013 - NEW YORK, NY -- New York, NY - The executive team of "Coach My Country Online (CMYCO) has announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to raise funding for the first-ever live, online, interactive basketball game. The game, matching teams representing the United States and Canada, is scheduled to take place this summer in New York City.
The inaugural game in 2013 will be a precursor to a 16-team international tournament that will be played in Las Vegas in 2014.
Founder and CEO Reggie Johnson, whose background includes being a former manager of iconic singer Mary J. Blige, says that CMYCO will change the face of gaming. "Our concept combines the skill and convenience of gaming with the excitement of a live sporting event. Players will be able to 'coach' their team against other players and teams from other countries in a real game, instead of directing avatars."
Utilizing Facebook as its platform, with direct access to its over one billion global users, CMYCO will change the manner by which gamers, sports enthusiasts and social networking consumers engage in sports and gaming. Employing stunning visual technology, users will direct live players as opposed to avatars for the first time in the history of online and video gaming.
CMYCO gamers will collectively coach teams by choosing to implement pre-designed sets (i.e. a 2-3 zone, man-to-man defense, a motion offense, and isolation and inbound plays), as well as making substitutions and calling timeouts by a consensus through the use of real time technology.
