Writer Uses Wattpad to "Bottle the Creative Thought Process"
Freelancer J. Paul Roe develops "A Thousand Words" photobook for writers.
(prHWY.com) November 13, 2015 - Orlando, FL -- J. Paul Roe has been writing professionally since 2013, providing content for clients and publishers all over the world in the form of ghostwritten books, screenplays, and articles. The 33-year-old Florida native is also an avid photographer, and when he's not writing, he can usually be found exploring the world with camera in hand.

Despite a hectic work schedule, Roe has begun work on a new project - one that he states has been in the making for years. "I've always loved talking about writing," he tells us, "and writer's groups and workshops have always been a part of my regular rotation. Helping other writers hone their skills is one of the most fulfilling things that I get to do."

It's that passion for helping other writers that's led him to create A Thousand Words, a coffee table photobook with guidance and advice for writers of all levels. Unlike his other works, however, Roe is spreading the word about this book well before its planned completion date.

"I'm sometimes slow to catch up on trends, I'll admit. Wattpad was something I never really looked into until recently. But when I tried it out, I realized that it would be a great way for me to write A Thousands Words while publishing it in real time so that writers can make use of it right away."

When asked if putting the content online for free would hinder any plans for monetizing the book in the future, Roe assured us that he was more concerned about getting the information to his readers than generating revenue. "If the content is as helpful as I intend for it to be - and the feedback from readers will help to determine that - then I will move forward with publishing the hard cover photobook. That will be something I'll have to charge for, but it will be quite a while before it's even available."

In the meantime, Roe adds, the written content of the book will be growing and evolving for readers to enjoy free of charge. He's excited about the possibilites that Wattpad could hold for the future of his personal work. "I'm always trying new things, and I really like that sites such as Wattpad and IndieGoGo can be leveraged by independent creatives to really get their work out there and noticed."
