(prHWY.com) July 16, 2011 - Turnersville, NJ -- Toyota helps out nonprofit organizations by donating cars.
Just like your local Woodbury Toyota dealer, Toyoto USA believes in the health of the communities in which it operates. It is for this reason that they have kept up with their Toyota 100 Cars for Good Program. Winning organizations will receive the Toyota vehicle of their choice based off of public online voting.
The competition began with 500 nonprofits, chosen by a panel of judges. Only 75 spots remain, and the voting will continue until August 16, 2011. Philadelphia Toyota drivers are hopeful for their local organizations in the running.
So far, 25 winners have been announced by Toyota. Among the first 25 are Lighthouse of Lincoln, NE; Farmworker Association of Florida of Apopka, FL; Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Grove City, OH; PAWS: Placing Animals Within Society of Bryson City, NC; Disabled Sports USA Far West of Citrus Heights, CA; and Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center of Morristown, NJ. Woodbury Toyota dealers are excited to find that 15 Pennsylvania organizations are still in the 475 left, 4 of which are located near Philadelphia Toyota dealers.
Winners will be able to have their pick of a vehicle along with a 6-year 100,000 mile warranty. The models to choose from are as follows: Tundra, Tacoma, Highlander Hybrid, Sienna, Sienna Mobility, and Prius. Five nonprofits a day will also be featured on Toyota's Facebook page dedicated to the program. Woodbury Toyota dealers are certainly hoping that their local organizations come out on top.
