The new options include the following four-cylinder and petrol engines: the Mercedes-Benz E 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, the Mercedes-Benz E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, and BlueEFFICIENCY petrol. The new engines allow for fuel economy improvements of up to 10 percent thanks to a number of engine revisions and the new 7G TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission and dynamic torque converter. They also feature ECO start/stop technology.
Other changes for the all new E-Class line-up include a new TFT color display on the centre fascia and a new DIRECT SELECT transmission feature, which allows the driver to select gears via a column-shift-style lever behind the steering wheel.
Pricing for the new Kissimmee Mercedes E Class range is as follows: the E 220 CDI is $84,800; the E 250 is $97,780; the E 250 CDI is $101,005; the E 350 is $132,635; the E 350 CDI is $136,485; and the E 500 is $183,685.
