Altogether, Chrysler Group LLC sold 120,394 vehicles in the month of June, which made for a 30 percent year-over-year increase as compared to 2010. At the end of the month, the year-to-date sales for Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep and Ram reached 639,932 models. This figure represents a 21 percent increase over 2010.
Other figures to note include the following: Dodge sold the most vehicles for Chrysler Group LLC, with 43,301 models sold; Jeep marked the biggest improvement over last year's figures by posting a 74% increase with 36,114 vehicles sold; and Ram sold 22,547 units sold to go up 34 percent.
Jeep's sales were also significant because they were at an all-time high, with all models posting sales increases. Sales of the Jeep Wrangler rose 27 percent to 11,290 sales; sales of the Grand Cherokee were at 8,969 models; and sales of the Jeep Compass were at 4763 units, which was a 278 percent improvement over May of last year.
