Toyota sponsors science in schools by supporting Tapestry grants to US science teachers

Tapestry has the largest grant program for science teachers in the United States. This association reviews teacher's environmental science proposals in order to judge who will be the winners of the Toyota sponsored grants. This program has been in effect for twenty-one years and a total of over $10 million has been awarded to nearly 1200 teachers.

Toyota believes that their program promotes student's excitement about science. A grant of $10,000 each is awarded by judges to fifty teachers or teams of teachers who will then implement their proposed project.
