(prHWY.com) July 22, 2011 - Royal Palm Beach, FL -- Toyota announced in June of 2011 the recipients of the latest Toyota TAPESTRY grants, as part of a 21 year old program that supports teachers in America. Toyota awarded $500,000 to 50 science teachers throughout the United States, each receiving an award of $10,000. The awards given out in June of 2011 recognized U.S. science teachers who make a difference by demonstrating excellence and creativity in science education. According to Dr. Francis Eberle, executive director for the National Science Teachers Association, "There is nothing more gratifying than honoring outstanding science educators who demonstrate excellence, creativity and vision in science teaching.
