The BMW Group's worldwide sales have grown by 17.9 percent for the first seven months of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010. The BMW Group has sold 7.6 percent more vehicles in July of 2011 compared to July of 2010. A total of 129,094 vehicles were sold by the BMW Group around the globe in July of 2011. Sales in the United States accounted for 26,120 of the total vehicles sold. This is an increase of 11.7 percent in US sales compared to July of 2010.
The greatest increase in sales for July can be attributed to the BMW X3. Sales of this vehicle have risen by 193.2 percent for July of 2011 compared to July of 2010. A total of 9,762 BMW X3s were sold in July of this year.
