During the month of July 2011, Chrysler reported total sales of 112,026 units sold, a 20 percent increase compared to July 2010, when Chrysler reported sales of 93,313 total units sold. July 2011 represented the best July sales month since July 2007. The Jeep sub brand is proving to be a strong one for Chrysler, with every Jeep model reporting an increase in sales during July 2011 compared to July 2010. During 2011 to date, all Jeep models have reported year over year sales increases every month this year. During July 2011, the Jeep Wrangler reported an all time sales record, and the Jeep Compass SUV reported a 240 percent sales increase compared to July of last year, which represents the largest year over year sales increase of any Chrysler model in history.
