Make Less Do More
New Blog Shows How to Take Stuff Headed for the Landfill and give it a New Life.
(prHWY.com) October 26, 2011 - RIdge, CO -- We are a generation of wasters. We buy a soda in a nice plastic cup and then throw it away. We have disposable cameras, disposable cell phones, disposable plastic plates and utensils disposable lighters and flash lights. More than 60 million plastic bottles end up in US landfills EVERY DAY. It is estimated that 27.4 Billion disposable diapers are consumed in the U.S every year. At what point will we realize enough is enough

Our Grandfathers generation appreciated the simple things in life. They had gardens, they knew how to hunt and repair and mend and make things go farther than anyone thought possible. From cars to clothes, they didn't discard them until they were beyond worn out and then they used them for something else. They used a single straight razor for decades until they invented the safety razor that used replaceable blades. Now we have disposable razors with four blades for a "closer" shave.
