The forest department of Uttarakhand preparing to reopen the gates of Jim Corbett National Park form 15th of November this year for tourist. It is expected to arrive large number to tourist in the park as every year. The gate of jim corbett park india were closed form 15th of June for the monsoon period. The forest department also planning to encourage the tourist in buffer zone to decrease the tourist pressure in core zone. As according to the latest census the core zone of jim Corbett park has the highest tiger density.
The authority is also hoping that the encouraging tourism in the Ramnagar and Terai West Forest divisions, improving the environment and reducing wildlife crime in core zone of Corbett will help the locals in social and economic development.
Corbett and other concern officials soon discuss about where in encourage the tourist and when. But right now the wildlife of Corbett which attract tourist in huge, also found in the Ramnagar and Terai West Forest divisions which the authorities plan to develop said Anil Baluni, the voice chair man of Advisory Committee for State Forest and Environment department.
