(prHWY.com) January 25, 2012 - Chappaqua, NY -- An exciting new program has emerged at The New York Rock Academy, which is scheduled to go on during the up coming winter break. From 2/20 through 2/24, students will be able to participate in intensive sessions from 10am-4pm daily. The NYRA believes in the importance of musicianship, so lessons will cover some technique and theory. The rest of the lessons consist of learning songs chosen by the students and instructors.
The New York Rock Academy prides itself on getting results for it's students by hiring world class staff, providing state of the art facilities, and utilizing cutting-edge teaching techniques. From complete beginners to accomplished young musicians, New York Rock Academy can help any aspiring rock star reach their goals and improve their skills.
Beginners will be taught the simpler parts of the songs so they can participate in their ensemble and form their first band. More advanced musicians will be able to fine tune their performance skills and learn how to better connect with their audience through their music.
The week-long intensive session costs $750, and enrollment is open until 2/1/12. For more information, call 914.238.3123 or visit
