(prHWY.com) February 8, 2012 - San Francisco, CA -- Pillsbury & Levinson LLP, a San Francisco law firm dedicated to representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes and bad faith litigation, has added Ingrid Leverett as special counsel.
"We are pleased to welcome to the firm an attorney of Ingrid's talent and commitment to the insured. As a niche firm with an exclusive focus on representing plaintiffs in insurance disputes, we are constantly seeking to expand our capacity to achieve our clients' objectives. Ingrid's appellate skills and wide-ranging experience in complex litigation matters will be an enormous asset to our clients," said Phillip Pillsbury, co-founder of the firm.
Prior to joining the firm, Leverett was an attorney with the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, serving as the Supervisor of the Civil Unit overseeing the work of a 12-attorney team that advised and made presentations to regular three-judge federal appellate panels. In addition, Leverett has more than 20 years of experience of handling complex civil litigation matters in federal and state courts.
A former Fulbright scholar, Leverett earned her J.D. from Berkeley Law at the University of California (1990) and her B.A. in German from Bryn Mawr College (1984).
Pillsbury & Levinson LLP is one of the few California law firms focused exclusively on representing policyholders in insurance disputes and insurance bad faith litigation.
