(prHWY.com) April 26, 2012 - Cape Town, South Africa -- The Pole Yard, South Africa's one of the leading timber merchants and a unique home-grown business specializing in home improvements and outdoor wooden furniture including poles, edging bridges, arches, fencing, trellis, kennel, and garden accessories, etc., spreads its helping hand to build a better South Africa. The company takes part in various community projects and gives utmost importance on sponsorships and donations to make the country a better place to live.

Established in 1995 by Robin Stott, the company continues its sponsorships and donations to an endless number of organizations like Vuya Endaweni Community Conservation Group, Foundation Phase Head and Activity, Kirstenhof Primary School, Living Hope Community Centre, Earth Child Project, Hurdy Gurdy House, and many others with an aim to make the people and organizations able to achieve things that they possibly may have not been able to do.

Every year, the Pole Yard lends World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts 6 poles in order to form the structure of the raft, which received a Class A sea worthy certificate. The company has also donated 22 poles for the construction of the second nursery of the Lavender in Lavender Hill Project.

Today's kids are tomorrow's citizens. So, children's physical and mental development plays a very important role to build up a stronger nation. Considering this, the Pole Yard has come up with an extensive range of DIY Jungle Gym Kits and accessories for the kids. These Jungle Gyms are of the best quality and are easy to assemble.

The company also sponsors various programs to protect the environment and animals. HOW Wildlife Rescue, Friends of the Kirstenhof Wetland, Green Communities, Kommetjie Environmental Restoration Project, etc. are just to name a few in this regard.
