While the artist's debut single, "All Eyes On Us", was a bright, bubble of high energy and euphoria, the album is the summation of a year in the life of Miss Myi -- every emotion, triumph, loss, romance and of course, great night out-- it's all here on "
Fearless".
For the album Miss Myi has not recorded solely in one city, taking up brief residence throughout Texas choosing the most fitting producer to work best for each track. Teamed up with Daniel Havelin, who composed a vast amount of the instrumentation, brought along depth to the pieces. The raw intensity of pop that pervades the music on this album will evoke emotions, and whether it is that of happiness, anger, or sadness, there will be the urge to dance. When she was a dancer heading back to Texas from a stint in Atlanta just making music together for the fun of it, Miss Myi admits, "When I first began writing music, I just wanted to be on stage, rocking out, dancing with the world. Now, at the completion, I've learned to use my music to share the best parts of being human, and connect with others though lyrics."
Currently preparing herself for a very busy spring, next month, she begins a promotional tour in the southern states to promote the debut album which shows her being as an artist, showcasing her love for a good time, catchy irresistible words, and amazing songwriting talent. "This album is the culmination of all of the everyday ups and downs life throws at you, and the party you throw to get over it" says Miss Myi. "Sonically, you'll hear some of the most fun inducing club tracks, and at the same time, you'll find ballads that will tug on your heartstrings.
