British shirtmaker Emmett London is bringing artistry back to shirtmaking -- in this case, quite literally.
(prHWY.com) April 27, 2012 - Watford, United Kingdom -- British shirtmaker Emmett London is bringing artistry back to shirtmaking -- in this case, quite literally.
Simply named 'The Artist', it's a slim fit shirts and single cuff shirts in what would be a classical blue/white stripe design -- were it not for the daubs of bright, primary-coloured paint with which it is covered -- a tongue-in-cheek contrast against the formal white spread collar.
As with all Emmett's seasonal designs, only a handful have been made. In this case, only 25.
And whilst the style of the shirt may be lighthearted, it is made with the same premium Italian fabrics and to the same exacting standards as all the company's clothing.
The Artist, along with hundreds of other shirts, ties, scarves and accessories, is available online at
http://emmettlondon.com or at one of the company's three London shops. New styles appear every week.
