(prHWY.com) May 2, 2012 - Seattle, WI -- Read any home remedy book on acne and it will tell people that they should avoid greasy foods if they want to reduce inflammation and eliminate acne. A new discovery from zany brainy scientist and health nut, Weird Science Sam may just change people's opinions on that.
"I am constantly on the lookout to find some totally out there fact that blows people's minds", said Weird Science Sam in an interview conducted via Skype. "If people said the sky is blue and it's always blue, I want to prove them wrong. So this month's challenge was to find an acne treatment cure that used something no one would think about!"
Weird Science Sam worked all month on creating a unique and highly controversial. The theme for this month was
acne treatment, and the solution that Weird Science Sam found was totally out there.
"I made a list of all the things home remedy books and doctors tell you not to do", explained Sam. "And I started with trying to turn the things they tell you not to do into dos!"
Weird Science Sam took grease and turned it into a soothing cream that when applied directly to the skin, helps soothe and treat acne. The grease that is used in this acne treatment cream is a combination of tree root and hamburger grease that has been cooled.
"I walked into the kitchen and saw the leftover hamburger grease sitting there", said Sam. "It looked so calming and soothing, and the wheels in my head just started turning. I thought why not try it for an acne fighting treatment. So that is just what I did."
Weird Science Sam made an acne fighting cream that he allowed his test group to try out. The group was initially sickened at the idea of putting cooled, congealed hamburger grease on their face, but once they tried it, it turned into a success.
"I almost threw up the first time he told me what was in it" said trial subject Holly Ulmer. "If he hadn't said it was hamburger grease I probably would have never known. Either way it worked and it cleared up my acne like never before."
Of the 40 test subjects that Weird Science Sam had try the product, about 20 reported seeing improvements in their skin and 10 reported no acne breakouts at all.
"There has to be something in the grease that prevents the inflammation of the skin. I don't know what it is but then again I don't question science", said Weird Science Sam.
