(prHWY.com) May 7, 2012 - London, United Kingdom -- A new Capita website has been launched for schools that are considering, or in the process of, conversion to Academy status. The website is called Academy Matters and can be found at
http://www.academymatters.co.uk/. This is a shared initiative by the following Capita businesses:
* Education Resourcing
* Consultancy
* Specialist Insurance Services
* Learning & Development
* HR Solutions
* Total Document Solutions
* IT Services
* Veredus
* SIMS
* Synetrix
* Symonds
The purpose of this group is to bring together Capita's total portfolio of products and services for schools and package them in a way that is compelling and easily understood by schools. In parallel to this, the group has adopted a thought leadership approach to sales and marketing strategy to help reposition Capita as a trusted advisor and the partner of choice for schools.
Academy Matters has been constructed with the help of schools that have already been through the process of conversion and as a result has practical, first-hand knowledge of the process. The service offers:
* Free seminars sponsored by Capita, but hosted by schools
* Sample letter templates that schools can download
* Practical advice sheets for downloading
* Invites users to share their thoughts on a range of issues from recruitment to possible changes in the support services provided by their local authorities
To date, 20,000 schools up and down the country have been targeted with a print and online campaign, alongside a launch press release to promote the service and seminars. Education are also supporting on and offline campaigns.
The new service signifies a shift towards the aim of all businesses involved offering more services to their schools whilst showcasing the wider Capita offering to the education sector.
