EdgeTablets.com Discovered that Some Tablet Manufacturers May Be Lying to Their Customers
Top Edge Services LLC has discovered that some of the manufacturers of Android(tm) tablets have not been completely truthful about what frequency or speed at which their processors process at.
(prHWY.com) May 12, 2012 - San Diego, AK -- Stan Thompson the CEO of Top Edge Services LLC, has been gathering samples of different tablets that run the popular Android software. Android which is owned by Google is not the problem. However, since Android is an open source software, many manufacturers of phones and tablets have started to use Android. Thompson was gathering these samples to sell on Top Edge Services' new website
http://www.edgetablets.com. When Thompson would get a sample he would run it through several tests, which included running several different software programs on the device that would tell what the processor speed was. As he reviewed the sales material he found that the processors maximum speed reported by the software did not match the sales information he was provided prior to ordering samples. "Even the major brands buy their devices from overseas in China, etc. and that is where I was looking for suppliers. But when I confronted the distributor about the discrepancies, she simply told me that, that was the speeds that the processor's manufacturer reported. She then said that she has to stay competitive with other suppliers. So if all of them are selling a processor from a particular manufacturer, as 1000 Mhz then she needed to sell it that way too," said Thompson.
Thompson had checked two other major brand devices and found that they were advertising the speeds exactly as they were being reported by the software or they were under selling them, by advertising them slower than they actually were. Thompson said, "These devices from these unknown suppliers are good devices, the distributors where just not advertising the right speeds on the devices. That is why everything we sell at
http://edgetablets.com will be tested first." Thompson then went on to say, "it appears that in places like China, there aren't strict regulations to protect the consumers. Therefore, we have to be careful when buying things that are manufatured overseas." Edgetablets.com now sells four different tablet models that they have tested to the best of their abilities and have made sure that they are advertising the correct speeds of the processors.
