Science Fair Project Turns Car World On Its Ear

(prHWY.com) June 26, 2012 - Seattle, WA -- Car enthusiasts know just how frustrating it can be to wax and polish a car only to have Mother Nature unload an entire bucket of rain onto that newly polished/waxed car. Not only is this extremely frustrating, but it cases more work. A recent product unveiled by a 16 year old inventor may have solved this problem.

"I have come up with the unique invention of a car wax and car polish that instantly seals and dries upon application", said Danny Turner. "This product when used will not only save time, but prevent those pesky little water spots that happen when it rains and you just waxed or polished the car."

Danny Turner created this invention as part of his school's science fair project. The teacher asked students to try to think outside of the box when it came to their assignments and presentations, and Turner did just that.

"We were told to try to think outside of the box with our science fair projects", said Turner. "I didn't want to do the same old thing. Volcanoes and food mold are overdone. I wanted something new and interesting, so I tried to invent a new product and that's just what I did."

The new car polish or car wax was put on display at Danny Turner's school science fair. One of the fathers of a student in the science fair noticed the new product and immediately took an interest in it.

"I saw this new type of car polish and just had to see what it was all about", said Barry Strong. "When I realized that this product actually worked and wasn't some dream the kid had I knew I had to take advantage of this, and help launch this product."

Barry Strong approached Danny Turner and his parents to discuss the possibility of launching the product nationwide. The Turner family was reluctant at first, but eventually agreed to do it.

"I wasn't sure it was the best choice for Danny", said Sally Turner. "Then I thought of how it could really advance his career goals, and it would open many doors to colleges that he might want to go to in the future."

The product officially launched on a website and is supposed to hit store shelves by the end of the year. Response for the product have been extremely positive, and there is even talk that Hot Rod magazine might run an interview with the child inventor.
